Deepavali Day at Sentosa!

But first I want to show off my fan that I made during Japanese class that day.  

We were only given 15 minutes to finish it, obviously it’s not enough to tear those origami papers into tiny little bits and stick them on the fan right!? Bah.

Anyway I brought it home to finish it ha. The side looks empty tho’ cos I don’t know what to put there. :X

So Thursday was Deepavali! Yay! No need to work. I love public holidays. Ha. We trooped down to Sentosa to get some sun, sea and sand!

Plus I wanted to see if JJ could swim. Ha.

That’s my Dad trying to get JJ to practise flapping his arms/legs. JJ hated the water anyway. Like owner like dog huh. I hate the water too. I mean. Water in a vast container la. Not water as in showering and drinking stupid.

He looks like an old doggie.

See! My dog can swim! He swims quite fast surprisingly. And although the distance looks very short, it’s actually quite far. We all left him on the rocks to see if he’d jump down. Haha.

He did la, obviously.

We met Bear the Rottweiler who was disguised as a Labrador that day. Hahaha. And JJ hated him! Aiyo, he kept barking at him while Bear just looked really uninterested.

Bear is a therapy dog, his owner says. Very well-trained! He didn’t even bark even tho’ JJ barked like mad.

Then my parents went home with the dog and the 3 of us went to take the sky ride and luge!! Wheee! So fun! The queue was fortunately, short.

And this is me, demonstrating the 3-steps to wearing a Luge helmet. No helmet, no ride.

Step 1: Put on the helmet.

Step 2: Fasten the strap.

Step 3: Smile for the camera!!
