Gmarket is full of evilness

3 Sep

Just one hour of surfing on Gmarket Singapore (not even the Korea one! I’m thankful I can’t read Korean) and I already have like $130+ (10 over items) worth of stuff in my shopping cart.

WTH. o_O”

It’s so terrible! I’ve got dresses, leggings, jeans, shorts, skirts, scarves, hair accessories, camera, belts, stationery, blah blah.

OMG.

Somebodeh stop meeeeeeeeee!

They literally have EVERYTHING. It’s so amazing.

Plus everything is so trendy (and cheap)! Scarves that I can’t seem to find in Singapore, or maybe I’m going to all the wrong places.

I’ve placed my first order with G-evil-market. -___-”

And I’ve poisoned Jenny-san too! *sniggers*

After much deliberation, I assure you, I managed to cut my shopping cart from $130+ to $70+.

I CAN HAS SOME DISCIPLINE OK!

My first buys. They better be good, or I’ll forever boycott them.

1. Washed denim shorts (impossible to find in Singapore that are not ridiculously overpriced) – $11.90 which is cheap until LAO SAI. Whether it’ll fit properly or not is another question, right?

2. Jelly flower sandals in Beige$10.60, this I’m a bit worried, because someone left a review for a Gladiator-esque type of sandals saying that the actual does not look like the picture at all! Urm, so I’m hoping that it’s just for that particular model and not my jelly flower sandals!!! *cross fingers*

3. Purple leggings$6.90, wah lau, I don’t know how many times I’m going to say this, but CHEAP UNTIL LAO SAI!

4. Leather texture leggings$9.50, again. CULS. Ha! Well, I don’t know how this will turn out, I’m hoping it’s not a metallic sheen and then they call it LEATHER, I will so slap the seller. It better be at least leather-ish.

5. and 6. Chiffon maxis$12.99 and $16.99 respectively. These 2 are relatively cheaper than what I’ve seen online selling at blogshops and shops that advertise on Facebook ads (those boxes at the RH side), so I’m taking a chance and I hope they’ll turn out fine!

As with all online shopping, I have concerns about sizing, cuts and fits, delivery and the overall integrity of the seller, like whether I’ll even receive the items??

I mean, photos can be easily manipulated with Photoshop, lightings, angles. Even the dress itself can be adjusted with pins and tucks.

So these all look good in photos, but who knows how they be in real life?

And really, quit saying that skinny people have an easier time buying online.

THAT’S JUST BULL CRAP.

Not true at all.

It’s not all about size ok? It’s about the fit, the cutting, how the clothes fall on your body. Body shape plays a major part too, alright?

Bah. Myth busted, yes.

I’ve already thought of what I’d buy if these turn out to be ok. Hahahaha, I am a shopaholic through and through.

Teeshirt dress, scarves (amazing range), stonewashed skinnies, teeshirt, belts, underwater lomocamera (so much cheaper than blogshops) and iPhone “omg-damn-cute-hello-kitty” covers.

Ahhh! Exciting!

I just logged in and see! 4 out of 7 items shipped out already! Pretty fast, since I only ordered on 31 August!

Now we wait and see if I actually receive them. Hmmph.

*waits*

Ok, back to mugging for Marketing Principles on Saturday.

Ciao people!
